Large Marketplace layout (House Layout) unfinished

I couldn't restrain myself, but i will show you an uncompleted large marketplace design. You can use it for now, but when the other 2 remaining community buildings unlock, i will add the finished layout and still keep the uncompleted one, if you really need to rearrange your island.

Here it is:

PLEASE NOTE:  For this layout, the horizontal roads must go from your top right corner of the screen to your bottom left corner of your screen. This is due to an issue with the radius center point of several utility buildings if you rotate them. Keep the design as it is and you will have no problem with your city.

Medium Marketplace layout ( House layout)

After some more experimenting, i have discovered that it is a nightmare to make House layouts....
Even though, i have managed to make them, and i will explain to you some design issues that anno online has them (maybe they will fix them somewhere in the future).

I think most on you have waited for this type of layout, for those that want to get those 1500 Vassals and more. Well, here it is, a medium market fully occupied.

NOW LISTEN HERE: for now i have discovered that the Medium Marketplace, Chapel, Fire Station, Tavern, have different radius centers if you rotate them. Make sure that the vertical roads from this layout go from your top right corner to your bottom left corner of your screen to ensure that you respect the layout.

If you want to know what i mean, take the Chapel for example, when it is placed in a vertical position, the center of the radius is in the center of the Chapel, but if you rotate if to an horizontal position, the center of the Chapel is at the entrance of the building.

Hope you understand what i am trying to tell you, and if you are a bit more patience, i will have the large marketplace layout ready, as it is giving me a lot of headaches. I must have all the buildings unlocked on merchants, so i can place all their necessities.

Small Marketplace layouts (Houses layout)

This is the first layout i have came up with. I won't lie to you, i have not tested it to see if i got the measurements right, i promise you, that as soon as i will have some extra space on my island, i will test it and maybe improve it.

Until then, this is a 4 Small marketplaces layout. I made the layouts together for those in the early parts in the game. I will also add a single small marketplace (please remember to leave the reads around the marketplace, as the coverage area radius doesn't start from the center of the marketplace)

The Chapels may not cover all the area, but if the houses are full of people, you will not need extra chapels, through you may not upgrade them. Feel free to add chapels on the left and right if you need them. The -4 gold won't be felt at all.

For now, I don't know if 1 Carpenter house is enough to cover all the houses, so i placed 2 in each corner.

I will have to work a little more on the Medium Marketplace, as it has a different radius and unusual dimensions. Until next post, comment, test the layouts and give me some feedback :)

Cider Production layout

Well, i have been approached by the first person that has commented on this blog, stating that i should hurry a bit with the posting of the cider production layout. I can say only this: The more you wait, the better you are rewarded.

So, this time i am going to give you two of my recommended layouts, each having its own usage along the game.

The first one is this:

This layout is what i recommend you to use until you get your first MEDIUM (not small) ISLAND. This layout is very simple and yet has very good production/space ratio. Two sets of this layout is enough to hold your 1500 Vassals. After you get your first MEDIUM ISLAND (at 250 merchants), you will obviously relocate your goat and woolen garments production on that island; OR, if it is a medium island with hemp and apple on it, you can relocate your cider and linen garment productions on that island.

This is where the best space/production layout comes into place:

These two layouts have the best space/production ratio. These can be used after you get another island of apple or on the main island after you have relocated your Goat and/or woolen garments productions.

!NOTICE: i use often this space/production ratio; to clarify, this number is made by taking the minimum area and dividing it to the number of production chains in one layout. In this case, i have 336 tiles which i will divide to 4 full production chains, and it equals to 84 tiles per chain.

Here are other good layouts that you can use, if you want to fill some empty spaces with something useful.

Don't forget to comment and rate. I will also wait for other requests :)

Until next post.

Bread production layout

Well, here we are, the bread. In real-life, bread is everywhere and it is the most commonly food product. But in Anno online,  the production chain layout for bread can be a nightmare early in the game. Bare in mind, that you will need 5 bread production chains to hold those 1500 Vassals.
So, he it is, the best space/production layout:

There it is! A full 5 bread production chain that you can use in the first sector of the map. I will give you my example if the layout placement:

Don't worry, this is only an example, you can use other layouts, from below, to use them in other spaces:

Woolen Garments Layout

The second production chain is the woolen garment. You should really consider a place to put this layout because it will supply you enough to hold those 1500 Vassals, after that you can relocate it to another island.

This layout has the best space/production efficiency.

I will supply you with other good layouts that you can use for those small spaces that hinders you:

Goat Farm layout

The first building that requires a very good layout is the goat farms. You will need a lot of them in a very small place. You will start seeing this problem when you will have to get to 1500 Vassals as you will need  12 goat farms. So, i will show you the perfect goat farm layout.

THIS IS IT!!! In the center you will have the Distribution Center (red 4x4 box), and roads (blue 1x1 boxes) running parallel beside the Distribution. Next to the roads, you will see the Goat Farms (orange 3x3 boxes), 8 on each side of the roads. The pastures (yellow 4x4 boxes) must be placed 6 on each side and the other 4 near the Distribution Center.

A good place to start this layout would be in the first sector (in the first part of the map that you get at the beginning of the game) on the right corner, as shown in the screen:

I don't have a full layout completed yet, but you should get the general idea on how and where this layout should be placed. First you should try to start with the Goat farm near corner of the shore, where there are 7 squares distance from the road to the shore. Don't worry, no goat has drowned in the making of this layout, nor will it ever.

Please note that you don't have to make the entire layout at once, you can start with as many as you want, and in the end you will finish this layout. After that you can repeat the same process.

I also will update with other layouts, smaller that good for those spaces you don't know what to do with it or other large layouts for efficient production:

Hope this is of use to all of you. Don't forget to comment and rate.
